2011 Film Festival launched
The 2011 Edinburgh International Film Festival launched on 17th May with a varied and eclectic programme which has something to entice everyone. Unique to Edinburgh, we are showing the international premiere of political thriller Page Eight in which MI5 officer Bill Nighy navigates his way through the minefield of politics and morality.
In our Conflict/Reportage strand, Martin Bell presents Salvador followed by a personal account of his time in El Salvador in a Q&A session at the end of the screening. Not to be missed.

Shadow Shows is an audiovisual collaboration bringing together a shadow play film with an original score performed by the band Pram behind the screen.
